MTHS National Honor Society students visit Food Pantry

The Miami Trace High School National Honor Society class recently volunteered at The Bread of Life Food Pantry at The Well.

This energetic group was not afraid of some hard work early on a Saturday morning! They spent their Saturday morning cleaning, rearranging groceries by food groups, completely reorganizing our grocery room. Additionally, they helped cook and serve lunch, wash dishes, and even helped in our kid’s classroom.

The pillars of The National Honor Society include character, scholarship, leadership and service. This group of students from MTHS excelled in all areas.

The Bread of Life is a ministry of Grace Community Church and is open every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon. They offer groceries, coffee and donuts, lunch, a devotional message, and lots of love. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Tami Dawson at 740-426-1361.
