HCF Management announced that Sue Thomas, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) of St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington Court House, has added to her duties to become LNHA of Court House Manor.

Thomas began her tenure as administrator of St. Catherine’s Manor in Washington Court House in September of 1997 and then became a part of the HCF family in 2008 when HCF purchased her facility from Carrington management. Under her leadership, her facility has been recognized with the President’s Award in both 2013 and 2014 as the leading facility in the region. St. Catherine’s Manor has also received a deficiency free health and life safety survey in the last two years.

In addition to Thomas’ expanded role, Milissa Knisley has been named assistant administrator at both Court House Manor and St. Catherine’s Manor.

Most recently, Knisley has served as the executive director of Hospice of Fayette County. She served in this role since 2005. Under Knisley’s leadership, Hospice of Fayette County recently achieved a long desired goal: JCAHO certification as well as two deficiency free surveys. Prior to her tenure at Hospice of Fayette County, Knisley worked for 16 years at Court House Manor.

Knisley served in Social Services, Admissions and Marketing roles during her previous employment with HCF. She is also heavily involved in the community, participating in such local organizations as Rotary, Fayette County Commission on Aging Board as well as currently serving as a board member for the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce.

In an effort to welcome both Thomas and Knisley to Court House Manor, the community is invited to an Open House, Thursday, Dec. 10 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of Court House Manor. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served.

“We are thrilled to have Sue and Milissa join the family at Court House Manor,” Julie K. Bolende, business development coordinator, said. “We cordially invite the community to meet Sue and Milissa as well as the rest of our staff during our open house Thursday, Dec. 10. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served and everyone is encouraged to tour our beautiful facility.”
