Pigs-N-Things 4-H club holds sixth meeting

On June 19, the Pigs-N-Things 4-H club met for the sixth time at the Fine Arts Building located on the Fayette County Fairgrounds. Vice president Kendal May called the meeting to order at 6:48 p.m.

Speeches were given by Ginni Schappacher, on texting and driving called “What Were They Thinking?” and by Michael Schappacher who spoke on “Farm Animal Safety.” Sofia Parsons showed her rabbit, named Jack Frost. She talked about how to show a rabbit and answer questions after her presentation. Member Ginni Schappacher was recognized for winning the 2015 Fayette County Meat Goat Ambassador award.

The meeting ended at 7:03 p.m. This will be the last meeting that the Pigs-N-Things 4-H club will hold for the rest of this year. The Pigs-N-Things 4-H club wishes the best to all 4-H exhibitors participating in the 2015 Fayette County Fair this year.
