The American Legion Post 25, at 1240 U.S. Route 22 West, will be hosting the first U.S. Marine Corps birthday party.

On Nov. 10 from 6 until 9 p.m. all former marines and active duty marines are invited to enjoy a meal and speaker. Refreshments will include pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and hot dogs as well as cake for dessert.

The speaker for the event will be an active duty marine. This is a family friendly birthday party, and marines are invited to bring the family.
