These are the reported results of recent local restaurant inspections from the Fayette County Health Department:

OCT. 2

Prime Meats and Deli, 240 W. East Street. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: No violations at time of inspection, clean facility.

OCT. 5

Kentucky Fried Chicken, Jeffersonville. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed a build up of debris under fryer in back of facility and in front of facility.

Wal-Mart Food Distribution Center 6089, 1400 Old Chillicothe Road. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed a build up of debris in the microwaves.

St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington C.H., 250 Glenn Avenue. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: No recommendations at this time.

Four Seasons of Washington, 201 Courthouse Parkway. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: No recommendations at this time.

OCT. 6

Pour Boys Brew House, Llc, 202 E. Court Street. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Test strips are needed for proper sanitizing measure of three compartment sink.

Chipotle Mexican Grill #1254, 12478 U. S. Route 35 NW. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: No violations at time of inspection.

Pizza Hut – Popeyes Chicken, Jeffersonville. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed build-up of debris and dust on hood above fryer, observed build of debris underneath fryer and ice machine, observed build-up of debris on pop machine near the nozzles and where pop exits machine.

Werner’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, Jeffersonville. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed ham in cooler past the date mark.

OCT. 7

Our Place Restaurant, 827 E. Market Street. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Delfield reach in cooler is now at proper cold holding temperature of 41 degrees.

Wendy’s 800134, 530 Clinton Avenue. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Date marking is not being practiced throughout the establishment.

Signature HealthCARE of Fayette Co, 375 Glenn Avenue. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed build-up of debris under tip skillet equipment, area was cleaned during inspection.

Nagasaki Restaurant, 240 E. Court Street. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed a build-up of debris on side of fryer and underneath fryer, also build up of debris on hood (grease).

El Dorado Mexican Restaurant, 220 Washington Square. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed TLS foods in cooler without a proper date mark, observed food in boxes on the floor.

J’s Corner Bar and Grill, 1492 yeoman Road. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed build-up of debris on pizza oven racks, observed can opener with debris and not clean to sight and touch.

OCT. 8

Streetside 62, 2007 Columbus Avenue. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Lights in the new food prep room need protective shielding to prevent contamination of food, more effective date of food prepared needs to be implemented, raw chicken was being stored above beef corrected during inspection, bulk containers must be properly labeled at produce to prevent possible health effects on consumers, plans need to be submitted, along with equipment list of new room addition.
