According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:
THEFT: An employee of Kroger reported that a male entered the store, selected merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items.
POSSESSION DRUG ABUSE INSTRUMENTS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Officers were checking a complaint of an intoxicated male in the 800 block of Maple Street. Upon arrival, officers located the male identified as Kimball L. Pettiford, who during the contact was found in possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Pettiford was arrested for the offenses.
THEFT: Officers were called to Walgreens parking lot on a complaint of an intoxicated male sitting on the curb near the drive-thru. Upon officers’ arrival, the male was identified as David R. Funk, who during the contact with officers was found to be in possession of merchandise taken from inside Walgreens. After investigation by officers, Funk was charged with theft of the items.
THEFT: An employee of Wal-Mart reported that a female attempted to conceal merchandise in a tote and depart the store without paying for the items. The female identified as Ashley L. Mossbarger was arrested for the offense.
