The annual Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing was held recently at Buckeye Hills Golf Club with first place going to the team of Mark Heiny, Brent Knisley, Jerry Mount and Brad Patton with a score of 58.

Golfers enjoyed lunch and a sunny day on the course for a good cause. The outing raised over $4,000, which will be used to provide scholarships for local high school graduates. Sponsoring the beverage cart was St. Catherine’s Manor and Court House Manor. Hi-Tech Electric provided a bucket truck for the golf ball drop.

Winners of the drop, and recipients of cash prizes, were first, Derrick Boeskem, second, Brandy Campbell and third, Norma Kirby.

“The golf outing is something we look forward to every year and it wouldn’t be possible without the great support from our hole sponsors, raffle prize donors, golfers and volunteers,” said Chamber President Whitney Gentry.

Scholarship applications will be available in the spring to the class of 2016.
