The public is invited on Thursday, Sept. 24 to listen to a panel of local leaders discuss State Issue 3, the proposed constitutional amendment which calls for the legalization of marijuana in Ohio.

The issue will be on the ballot at the upcoming Nov. 3 election. If approved by the voters, State Issue 3 will legalize the recreational use of marijuana in Ohio for those who are 21 years of age or older and use for anyone who has a medical need.

This panel, presented by the Fayette County TEA Party, is scheduled to include local leaders from education, law enforcement, city government and the courts. The panel will answer questions about this issue in a question and answer session.

This free public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Community Room of Southern State Community College, 1270 U.S. Highway 62 Southwest, in Washington C.H.
