The first-ever Main Street Fall Fest is coming to downtown Washington C.H. this Saturday.

The entire community is invited to participate in this fall kick-off, which will include craft and artisan vendors, food trucks, a car and bike cruise-in, live music, kids’ activities, and more. The event will run from 1-7 p.m.

The live music will begin at 1:30 on the courthouse lawn with “Derailed” performing until 2:30 p.m. Additionally, Mckenna Roe, a talented local singer, will perform from 3-4 p.m. Finally, the music entertainment will wrap up with a performance from the band, “Johnny Lawless,” from 5-7 p.m.

Big Time Wrestling entertainment will also have several pro wrestlers on stage with bell times at 2 and 4 p.m.

Local food vendors will be downtown during the event and the Fayette Family YMCA will be providing kids’ activities on the courthouse lawn.

“We’ll have some benches out there, but those attending are welcome to bring lawn chairs if they wish,” said Mekia Rhoades, the chairperson of Main Street Fayette. “We just want everyone to have a good time and celebrate as a community.”

Parking will be available at the parking lot on East and Main streets.
