A 16-year-old was flown by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus Saturday following a head-on collision on US 62, north of Madison Mills in Madison Township.

Just before 5 p.m., a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by the juvenile was heading northbound and a 2004 Ford F-150 truck, driven by Brooklynn Holloway, 20, of Washington C.H., was heading southbound on US 62. The two vehicles collided and the juvenile was flown from the scene, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Holloway suffered non-incapacitating injuries and her passenger, Gregory Thompson, 23, of Washington C.H., possibly suffered minor injuries, reports said.

The condition of the juvenile was unknown on Monday. The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
