According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 4

Inducing Panic: At 3:32 a.m., officers as well as EMS services responded to 926 Sycamore St. on a call of a unresponsive male. Officers found Michael Penwell to be suffering from an apparent drug overdose. Penwell was charged with inducing panic.

Dec. 3

Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:58 p.m., officers responding to a call of a suspicious person in the area of Washington Avenue found Carla M. Lewis to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 2

Theft: At 3:19 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a male and female went through the self checkout line and scanned merchandise, bagged the items, and then failed to pay for them prior to departing. The two were identified as Tiffany N. Follrod and Phillip A. McPherson. Both were charged with the listed offense.

Theft: At 7:44 p.m., Eric Smith reported that unknown person(s) removed the license plates off a 2007 Jeep Commander while it was parked on Campbell Street.

Theft: At 8:09 p.m., Patty Canter reported that unknown person(s) removed various items from her residence and garage.

Criminal Damaging: At 11:02 p.m., Belynda Hall reported that unknown person(s) damaged the door frame to her residence while trying to force entry. No entry was gained and nothing was reported missing.

Nov. 30

Theft: At 12:19 p.m., Neil Wolfe reported that sometime over the past week, unknown person(s) removed several pieces of jewelry from his residence.

Theft: At 6:50 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that an unknown male selected merchandise and departed the store out a fire exit door without paying for the items. Charges are pending.

Nov. 28

Theft: At 9:54 a.m., an employee of TSC reported that an unknown male concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items.

Theft: At 7:45 p.m., an employee of Family Dollar reported that a male concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. The male, identified as Caleb A. Workman, was located and charged with the listed offense.

Nov. 27

Trespass/Theft: At 6:35 p.m., officers located Heather Winters trespassing on the property of Walmart. Upon arrest, officers found Winter was in possession of stolen merchandise from Walmart.
