ERA Martin & Associates announces scholarship winners

Stephen Yeoman of Washington C.H. and Nikki Gallagher of Chillicothe were recently awarded the Wayne Martin Memorial Scholarships. This scholarship is provided to selected individuals to help complete their real estate classes and to obtain their real estate license.

The scholarship is named after the founder of ERA Martin & Associates, Wayne Martin, who passed away in 2013. Wayne was a big believer in giving back to the community so this scholarship was started in his honor. The scholarship is funded partly by the company, but also by the individual agents donating part of their pay to the fund.

Stephen is a 1991 graduate of Miami Trace High School and is currently a resident of Fayette County.

Stephen has one son, Daniel, who lives with him as he pursues his law degree.

Once obtaining his real estate license, Steve plans to work at ERA and help buyers find their dream homes and is especially excited to help first time home-buyers find their first home.

Steve says that he is looking forward to working with ERA for several reasons, as he states here, “ERA is a leader in technology, they have unlimited amount of tools to use as well as being a family-oriented company. They are also very involved with the community, which I like as well.”

ERA Martin and Associates has six offices in the area and they accounted for 631 transactions and $62,325,465 in volume in 2014.

ERA would like to thank everyone that applied for the scholarship. Washington C.H. office manager Steven Armstrong said, “We had just an unbelievable group of applicants, they were all great people and each and everyone of them would be great realtors in the future. We will be giving away another scholarship in a few months. If anyone has any questions about becoming a realtor, please contact me.”
