Chamber of Commerce to hold ballot breakfast

Chamber members and the public alike are invited to the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Ballot Breakfast on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7 a.m. at the Southern State Community College community room.

The event is free to all who wish to attend and candidates from the local races will be present.

The candidates for Washington C.H. Municipal Court Judge are incumbent Vic Pontious and challenger Steve Eckstein.

The Washington Court House City Council candidates are incumbents Ted Hawk, Dale Lynch and Kimberlee Bonnell and challengers, Caleb Johnson and Stephen Shiltz.

The Washington Court House City School Board candidates are incumbent Ken Upthegrove and challengers Leah Foster, Donald Branham, Mark Chrisman and John Minyo.

Also present will be speakers on the Fayette County Health Department and Fayette County Board of DD renewal levies, and an update on the proposed new jail.
