Organizers for the Fayette County Relay For Life will hold their kick-off meeting this month.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Heritage Memorial Church Shelter House at 1867 U.S. Highway 35 Northwest in Washington Court House. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m.

Organizers are inviting interested community members to join the 2016 Relay For Life of Fayette County Leadership Team and fellow relay participants at the fun-filled open house event to “Paint Your World Purple.” All team captains, members, family, friends and volunteers and interested community members are welcome to attend.

The event will have some food, fun games and activities, a vote to decide on the theme for the 2016 Relay For Life and more.
