Carr receives scholarship at University of Mount Union

Ashton Carr, of Washington Court House, was awarded the Dean’s scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year by the University of Mount Union.

The Dean’s scholarship is based on a review of students’ academic credentials such as curriculum, GPA, ACT/SAT and high school rank.

Each year, the university gives out numerous scholarships based on high academic performance and involvement. Students who receive these scholarships are eligible to renew the award for up to four years of their time at the university.
