Modern Woodmen to match funds for Dragons game

Modern Woodmen members of Washington C.H. Chapter 5458 selected the Dragons versus Guns & Hoses charity softball game as their annual matching funds event.

The game is Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. at Eyman Park’s back diamond in Washington C.H.

Modern Woodmen, a fraternal financial services company that partners with members on community projects, will match funds raised up to $2,500 to benefit Fayette County Special Olympics. It will be Dime-A-Dog night with lemon shake-ups, snow cones, a 50-50 raffle, a bake sale, Dragon t-shirts and other concession items.

It will be a fun evening raising funds for Fayette County Special Olympics, a wonderful program that gives children and adults with special challenges the opportunity to compete in a variety of team sports throughout the year.
