According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 20

Inducing Panic: Officers responded to Sparh Klean Laundry after receiving a complaint of an unresponsive male in the bathroom. Upon arrival, officers located James Picklesimer, who was suffering from an apparent drug overdose. Picklesimer was treated and transported by EMTs and was subsequently charged with inducing panic.

Violation of a Protection Order: Randy Frisby was taken into custody for a civil protection order violation after officers observed him walking with a female juvenile who is listed as a protected person on the CPO. While searching Frisby, officers located drug paraphernalia and a rock-like substance in his pocket that later tested positive for methamphetamine. In addition to the CPO violation, Frisby was charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: During a traffic stop in the area of Glenn Avenue and Columbus Avenue, officers requested the assistance of the K-9, who alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a small baggie under the driver seat that contained a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine. The driver, Brian Moore, was charged with possession of drugs as well as possession of a drug abuse instrument after a syringe was located on his person. Moore’s passenger, Michelle Moore, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug abuse instrument after police located syringes and a spoon on her person.

Disorderly Conduct: Officers responded to the area of Taco Bell after receiving a complaint of an unresponsive male behind a dumpster. Upon arrival, officers located Justin Melton, who was found to be very intoxicated. Melton was taken into custody for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was transported to the Fayette County Jail.

Aug. 19

Drug Abuse (two counts)/Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia/Criminal Simulation: At 1:44 a.m., officers were called to an address in the 700 block of Pearl Street in reference to a female who reportedly overdosed on drugs. Fayette County EMS rendered treatment to the female, who was transported to Fayette ER for further treatment. Officers located illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in the possession of the female along with a counterfeit money. The female, identified as Brooklyn R. Graf, was arrested for the listed offenses.

Theft: At 3:43 p.m., Michael Taylor reported that unknown person(s) removed a cell phone and charger from his vehicle while it was parked at Aldi’s.

Aug. 18

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Inducing Panic: At 6:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to a possible drug overdose at the Point gas station on East Market Street. The male involved was located and identified as James W. Picklesimer. Officers found drug abuse instruments in the restroom and on his person. Picklesimer was charged with the listed offenses.

Aug. 17

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Drug Paraphernalia: At 11:36 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Peabody Avenue in reference to a possible drug overdose. Upon arrival, the male was located unresponsive inside the residence. Fayette County EMS provided medical treatment to the male, identified as Christopher A. Boren, who was transported to Fayette ER for further treatment. Officers located several items of drug paraphernalia in the area of Boren, who was later charged with the listed offenses.
