“Pollinators, Plants, and You” was the subject of Brigitte Hisey’s workshop held at Jeffersonville Branch Library recently. Students created insects and the cups were flowers. The participants discovered how pollination works and how we can help the native populations of bees, insects and butterflies. “One out of every three bites of food you eat depends upon pollinators,” said Brigitte Hisey, naturalist educator from Fayette County Soil and Water Conservation District.
