IWA professional wrestling is coming to New Holland this Saturday and the county is invited to attend.

The show will be held at the old New Holland elementary school. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and bell time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the village offices in New Holland or the Thirsty Goat Restaurant in Mount Sterling, or will be for sale for $10 at the door on the night of the show.

“We are the oldest wrestling company in Ohio having been in business since 1988,” Andrew Mackan, promoter of IWA and booking agent, said. “We are having a cruiserweight championship match between the American Pitbull Guile Castle and Tyler Grimm and a women’s championship match where Melissa Bangkok defends her title against Jessica Jean.”

Additionally, the event will feature a 16-person Gauntlet for the Gold over the top rope match and The End of Days: Omega debuts against The Action Figure Rick Raid. Mackan said that there will be even more.

“We will be in New Holland on Saturday, up the road in Williamsport on September 23 and back to New Holland on October 14,” Mackan said. “The IWA wants to bring family-friendly entertainment back to smaller communities.”

“We would really love everyone to come out,” Mackan said. “I love the IWA, we sell you the whole seat but you will only need the edge.”
