Putting the ‘Community First’

0

The Community First Division at the Fayette County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD) and their Give Back Crew have been out and about within our community showing appreciation with gift baskets filled with goodies.

“We live in a very giving and supportive community and we want a chance to give back,” said Betty Reisinger, Community First director.

The “Crew” started their “give backs” to local first responders, including the Washington Fire Department, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington Police Department. FCBDD appreciates the many sacrifices these agencies make daily to keep the Fayette County community safe. They deserve to know that those sacrifices do not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

The Community First division is one of many departments at Fayette County Board of DD. To find out more about any of the programs or services provided, please call 740-335-7453 or visit www.fayettedd.com.
