Watermelon and sweet corn highlight Wednesday market

0

As our summer season proceeds so does the variety and depth of the produce harvest. Please consider visiting the Wednesday Fayette County Farmers Market today and talking with our vendors.

The parking situation is great and the timing affords a mid-week opportunity to put some fresh produce on your supper table! The Yoder’s will be back next Wednesday and recent rumor has it that the “Pie Lady” will be attending some future Wednesday markets! Available at Wednesday’s markets are chicken cuts, pork cuts, farm fresh eggs, home made breads and rolls, local honey, green beans, new potatoes, tomatoes (slicing and cherry), cucumbers, zucchini, summer, butternut, and spaghetti squashes, assorted baked goods, hand crafted items, and jams and jellies.

The Wednesday market location is 1650 Columbus Ave. (TSC parking lot) and operates from 4 to 7 p.m. This location also accepts charge/debit cards and SNAP EBT cards. The following vendors have indicated they should be there (among others who did not know yet):
