According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

June 20

Theft: At 1:12 p.m., James Carr reported that a Chevrolet small block engine was removed from a detached garage at an address on Forest Street. The engine was located and after further investigation, Melinda A. Thompson and James J. Dotson were charged with the offense.

Theft: At 2:32 p.m., Sheryl Dailey reported that unknown person(s) removed the cushions from her porch furniture.

Theft: At 5:23 p.m., Brian Anthony reported that unknown person(s) removed two weed eaters and a pair of car ramps from his garage.

Assault: At 9:29 p.m., Matthew Campbell reported that during an argument with a female on the Walmart lot, he was physically assaulted.
