Habitat for Humanity has long been dedicated to providing affordable housing to deserving and eligible families in our community.

Their 18th home was recently completed and another home build project is underway for late 2017 completion.

The Fayette County chapter is currently seeking volunteers to serve on their board of directors. The group has numerous committees, including: family selection, site selection, building development, family support, church relations, fund raising, and public relations.

The entire board of directors holds one monthly meeting and the various committees meet as necessary beyond that to conduct any ongoing or new business.

Directors serve two-year terms and are permitted and encouraged to serve second consecutive terms. Please contact current board member Teresa Rowe to learn more and to express your interest. She may be reached at 740-636-2709 or by email at trowe@woodforest.com.
