Merrit wins Fayette Soil & Water Conservation District poster contest

Kayli Merrit won this year’s Fayette Soil & Water Conservation District Poster Contest: “You can make a difference, One habitat at a time.”

She is a student at Washington Middle School in Mrs. Rose’s art class. Her design will go on clinch bags that participants will receive at this year’s Discovery camp for students going into fourth-sixth grade, June 21 and July 12.

Madison Hayes won second place and Audrey Lotz won third place.
