Rose named Ohio Farm Bureau organization director

Ashley Rose of New Vienna has been named Ohio Farm Bureau Federation organization director for Clinton, Fayette, Greene and Warren counties.

Rose started at Ohio Farm Bureau in 2016 when she was hired as an organization director-in-training.

As an organization director, she will help identify ways to serve county Farm Bureau members and their communities as well as assist county groups as they implement programs to strengthen their organizations and affect positive change in their communities.

Rose, who grew up on a small Highland County farm, has a bachelor’s degree in extension education and animal sciences from Ohio State University and two associate degrees from Ohio State’s Agricultural Technical Institute. She was an agricultural ambassador for Ohio Farm Bureau during the Ohio State Fair and an intern for Ohio State University Extension in both Delaware and Wayne counties. She also was an ATI student ambassador, secretary for the Ohio Collegiate Cattle Association and is an FFA American Degree recipient.

Ohio Farm Bureau is the state’s largest and most inclusive farm organization. Its mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
