Two Washington C.H. men are being held in the Fayette County Jail for allegedly trafficking heroin, methamphetamine and crack cocaine.

On Thursday at around 6 p.m., a Washington C.H. Police Department officer responded to the Ohio Thrift Store, 100 Washington Square, in response to a report of suspicious people sitting in the parking lot. The officer approached the passenger side window of a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and identified the man in the driver’s seat as Frank A. Davis, 47, and the passenger as Justin M. Wilson, 22, of 407 Broadway St.

While speaking to Wilson, the officer said he saw Wilson attempt to hide a glass meth pipe between the console of the vehicle and the passenger seat. According to reports, Wilson later admitted that he was attempting to hide the meth pipe.

Wilson was then asked to exit the vehicle and was placed under arrest. Before he was patted down, Wilson reportedly advised he had a loaded pistol in his right front pocket. Another responding officer located a .22-caliber Derringer pistol, which was loaded with five rounds of ammunition.

While Wilson was patted down, a scale with residue and small blue baggies were found on his person, police said.

Davis was asked to exit the vehicle in order for officers to further search the vehicle. According to reports, Davis gave police permission to search.

While searching the vehicle, officers reportedly found 98 small plastic baggies, one glass pipe used to ingest meth, one glass tube used to ingest cocaine, two electronic scales with residue, several pieces of cotton and other drug paraphernalia.

Further search of the Jeep found several hypodermic needles and multiple drugs that field tested positive for meth, heroin, marijuana and crack cocaine. Another unknown substance found at the time has been sent to the Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation for evaluation.

Neither Wilson or Davis admitted to ownership of any of the items, reports said. Both were charged with trafficking meth, trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, possession of drug abuse instruments, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wilson was also charged with improper handling of firearms.

Wilson is being held in the Fayette County Jail on a $21,000 bond and Davis is being held on a $16,250 bond.
