According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Theft/Drug Abuse/Drug Paraphernalia: At 2:48 p.m., an employee of Petland reported that a female removed merchandise from the store without paying for the items. The female, identified as Sheila A. Speakman, was arrested for the theft offense and during her arrest, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Domestic Violence: At 6:37 p.m., officers responded to an address in the 400 block of Broadway Street on a complaint of a domestic disturbance. Upon contacting the involved parties, it was learned that an assault had occurred during an argument between the male and female. The male, identified as Phillip A. McPherson, was arrested for the listed offense.
