According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Feb. 28

Theft: At 9:09 a.m., Steve Balahtsis reported that unknown person(s) removed a Rumpke trash container from a rental property on East Temple Street.

Theft: At 3:57 p.m., George Burlile reported that unknown person(s) removed a small forced air heater from his residence.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Drug Paraphernalia: At 5:44 p.m., officers were checking a complaint of a suspicious person under the South Main Street bridge and made contact with a male identified as Eathan Lightle. He found in possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Lightle was arrested for the listed offenses.

Theft: At 6:11 p.m, Randy Nichols Sr. reported that unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and removed property.

Theft: At 9:31 p.m., Kathy Boltonhouse reported that unknown person(s) removed her purse from her vehicle while in the 300 block of East Market Street.

Feb. 27

Larceny: At 7:33 a.m., Stephanie Ater, of 309 N. Fayette St., reported that sometime overnight someone removed several decorative items from her front porch.

Telecommunications Harassment/Violation of Protection Order: At 10:06 a.m., a resident of Campbell Street reported receiving an unwanted phone call from Roxanna R. Mann, whom he has a protection order against.
