According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Feb. 26

Inducing Panic: At 10:06 a.m., officers and paramedics were called to 908 Sycamore St. on a possible drug overdose. Officers found Keenan Willett unresponsive at the scene. Willett was revived and later charged with inducing panic.

Inducing Panic: At 12:45 p.m., officers and paramedics were called to 907 Forest St. on a call of a possible drug overdose. Officers said that Melinda Thompson admitted to ingesting narcotics and had been unresponsive. She was later charged with inducing panic.

Feb. 24

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The vehicle was towed for unsafe conditions. While taking inventory of the vehicle, officers located drug paraphernalia. The operator, identified as Shannen R.M. Royer, was charged with the listed offense.

Inducing Panic: At 1:39 p.m., officers responded to an address on Broadway Street in reference to a possible drug overdose. The female who was found unresponsive was treated by EMS and was later transported to Fayette ER for further treatment. The female, identified as Melissa A. Fields, was later charged with the listed offense.

Domestic Violence: At 3:41 p.m., officers responded to an address in the 1100 block of South Hinde Street in reference to a domestic violence dispute. Contact was made with the parties involved and a man reported that during an argument with a family or household member, he was physically assaulted. Karen R. Estep was arrested for the offense.

Assault: At 8:48 p.m., a woman reported that a known male came to her residence and during a verbal exchange, he physically assaulted her. The male, identified as Todd J. Morrow, was arrested for the listed offense.

Feb. 23

Criminal Damaging: At 7:05 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East Temple Street in reference to a report from Graham M. Roberts that sometime overnight, person(s) unknown damaged the tires of his vehicle.

Criminal Damaging: At 7:24 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East Temple Street in reference to a report from Courtney A. Rapp that sometime overnight, person(s) unknown damaged the tires of her vehicle.

Theft/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:17 p.m., officers responded to Ace Hardware in reference to a larceny complaint. Upon arrival, officers located a male matching the description given. The offender was arrested for theft. During a search, officers located a hypodermic syringe and drug paraphernalia. The male identified as Ronald D. Leach was charged with the listed offenses.

Underage Consumption: At 9:29 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Washington Avenue in reference to a disturbance. They made contact with a male who was allegedly involved and was found to be intoxicated. The male, identified as Canaan M. Alexander, was charged with the listed offense.

Feb. 22

Criminal Damaging: At 9:48 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Pin Oak Place in reference to a report from Marlene L. Shadley that sometime overnight, person(s) unknown damaged the windshield to her vehicle.
