The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce will be giving away a gift basket, valued at over $1,700, full of goodies from local businesses in its Elf on The Shelf Christmas Giveaway.
“The Chamber has a new ambassador, the elf named Chamber Chip, and he is making stops all over town from December 1 through the 23,” said Chamber President Whitney Gentry.
Participants are asked to follow the Fayette County Ohio Chamber of Commerce Facebook page during the contest. Each day, a new photo of Chamber Chip will appear along with clues to help determine his location. Be the first person each day to correctly guess – by commenting on the posted Facebook picture – Chamber Chip’s location to get entered in the drawing. At the end of the 23 days, one name will be drawn at random from the daily winners to receive a basket of goodies from everywhere the elf has been.
“We thought this would be a great, fun way to remind everyone of the many places we have for local holiday shopping,” said Gentry. “The businesses were super excited to participate and I wish I could tell you what the prizes are. We have some really great things to give away. I hope everyone will follow the Fayette County Chamber Facebook page and take part in the adventures of Chip.”
