According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 4

Theft: At 9:41 a.m., Misty Carver reported that person(s) removed property from her garage without her permission.

Theft: At 10:39 a.m., an employee of MRDD reported that unknown person(s) removed a 50-inch flat screen TV from a group home on Golfview Drive.

Oct. 3

Larceny: At 3:45 p.m., employees of Home Depot reported that Preston Ward and Boyd Ward, both of Circleville, attempted to leave the store with merchandise they had not paid for. Charges were filed.

Obstructing Official Business: At 7 p.m., Jayson Gordon of 966 Staunton Sugar Grove Road was arrested and charged with obstructing official business after he ran from officers during an investigation into a complaint of a suspicious person walking on the railroad tracks near Veteran’s Way.
