I hope that the Record Herald did not lay off the person in charge of updating the forum.
EDITOR'S NOTE: No, we have not. We just have not received many postings lately.

Coach Hines Is My Hero, Should I have made my post less personal? Should I have started out saying- “Wow, I can’t believe how many totally uninformed people there are in this community and I suppose that's my mistake regarding this community.”? Should I have followed with- “I can‘t believe how many people in this community develop opinions based what someone tells them rather than actually checking facts.”? The only problem is, I don’t harbor the same disdain for this community that was reflected in your post. If this community is so despicable, why do you stay?
Then again, perhaps you just feel that your opinions are so important that they should stand unchallenged and accepted as facts.
Arminta, Again you attack me personally rather than the message, how emblematic of another person who doesn‘t want their opinions challenged.

I’ve often seen the bumper sticker that read “I’m too poor to vote republican” I believe that is meant to say that only rich people vote that way. Judging on the spending habits of the last republican run congress and this presently run democrat congress I believe that “I’m too poor to vote republican AND democratic.”

Just don't worry about it Coach Hines is My Hero - no one can even express an opinion on here that JLMcDaniel doesn't start with the insults and the rest of his babbling nonsense. He's the reason I rarely ever look at this forum anymore.
As much as you love baiting individuals into a P****** contest, I'm sorry I'm above falling into your trap. I stated my opinion clearly as to what I thought of the situation some time ago and yet you insist on dragging this thing on. Seems no one can have their own opinion without you attacking them on a personal level. I stand by what I said in my original post. If that makes me thin skinned and spoiled, so be it. I don't need your approval. With that said, good luck in your endeavors with the commissioner thing.... As far as I'm concerned, you're dismissed. Buh bye.
PS- Wow, two posts in one day? My, my-you are a dedicated individual to this forum, aren't you?
You just have to love the openminded people of fayco.

I find it interesting that you can post the comments you made and then have the nerve to call someone else condescending.
No, I don’t have you all figured out , however I can make the following suppositions based on your posts . You are very thinned skinned and you have the personality of a spoiled adolescent.
Yes, I do attend hearings and meeting on occasion. Especially when someone is asking me to help foot the cost of something. It’s part of collecting the facts necessary to make an informed decision, a concept probably foreign to you.
It’s amazing that you have a life in the real world and yet don’t know what’s going on in the real world except what “someone” tells you.
I hadn’t considered running for County Commissioner, but now that I have your support I may have to reconsider.
When I rose in the morning I never thought that I’d fall, didn’t dream that I’d lose, that I’d hurt that I’d squall, But when the storm came and I gave it my all, Perseverance was lost, Dawn came tumbling the wall, As the waves crashed, I swam and I clawed, Till my hands bled and all hope was lulled, To an unconscious state the vibrant was dulled,
Day turned to night and all warmth to cold, Reality set I shall never grow old, As I lie down 2 accept the foretold, A Glimmer from east unraveled a scroll, On it all men and where they shall go, I searched and I read, I studied this scroll, But my name was not written my fate was not told,
Then as night turned to day, Conscious regained I’d found my way, through magic or fate back to this place, In my hands holding the key to my fate, So I read the scroll again, This time found my name, The Teacher of Men, The Soul of the Brave.
Oh McDaniel.... You just think you have me all figured out, don't you? You don't know what I have attended and what I have not. Not that any of that is relevant to your ramblings. When someone says they are going to or not going to do something, I generally take them at their word. I suppose that's my mistake regarding this community. So back to my original statement... I was told they were not tearing it down. As for me being sentimental, what business is that of yours? You say it like it's a bad thing. Clearly you have enough time to go to meetings and spend every single day on this forum. However, I have a life in the real world. So as a realist I will tell you that the "powers that be" were going to do whatever they pleased no matter what was said at any meeting. Here's some food for thought as to what to do with all of your spare time-have you ever considered running for County Commissioner? You and your condescending attitude would fit right in. Enjoy your week-end and thanks for the laugh. I needed it. : )
