Sid and Sondra Woodrow

Sid and Sondra (Merriman) Woodrow of Washington Court House recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married on Jan. 15, 1966 among friends and family at the Jeffersonville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Reverend Franklin Stephens officiating.

The couple is blessed with three children: Eric (JoAnn) Woodrow of Jeffersonville, Missi (Brent) Knisley of Washington Court House, and Mandy (Chris) Zimmer of Villa Hills, Ky. Also proud grandparents to Loren and Max Knisley and Cash and Presley Zimmer.

Sid is currently retired after working 45 years as a manager in the heavy duty transportation industry. The two plan on celebrating in St. Simons Island, Georgia in July along with their family given as a gift by their children.

For them 50 years is fairly simple. Live well. Love much. Laugh often.
