Altrusa Club of Washington Court House will be hosting the fifth-annual Loving Spoonsful Tasting Luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 31, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Commission on Aging Senior Center, 1179 S. Elm St., in Washington C.H. Proceeds will go to help support the Miami Trace Elementary “Right to Read” program, Meals-on-Wheels, and college scholarships for Washington and Miami Trace seniors.

Altrusa guests will enjoy tasting-size servings of homemade dishes prepared by members and friends. Multiple buffet tables of tasty appetizers, breads, soups, salads, side dishes, main courses, and desserts provide guests many delicious samplings enough to make more than one meal.

There will be silent auction baskets, kitchen aid mixer raffle, plus other door prizes, and a fun time for all. Luncheon tickets will be pre-sold at $10 each, which includes an Altrusa cookbook of all recipes served. Tickets are available at Sunshine Laundry, and from any Altrusa member.

Altrusa is an international association of professional women and men who volunteer their energies and expertise to community betterment. The Washington C.H. club has been serving Fayette County for over 39 years.
