The Fayette County Memorial Hospital Foundation recently elected Andrew Daniels to the board of directors. Daniels will serve a three-year term to the seat vacated by Dan Roberts, who faithfully served the Foundation since its inception in 2010.

Daniels is a graduate of Westfall High School. He then received his bachelor’s in business economics and master’s degree in financial economics from Miami University. He and his father, Ed Daniels, became the co-owners of The Print Shop in 2015. Including the father-son duo, there is a staff of 10 at the local printing company, located at Leesburg Avenue in Washington C.H.

“I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the community,” said Daniels.

The FCMH Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of 15 people who all work or live in Fayette County, and their mission is to help forge the future of the Fayette County Memorial Hospital by increasing awareness of needs and raising funds.

Daniels will join fellow board members, Ron Amore, Vanessa Blevins, Kathy Dean, Nick Epifano, Rob Herron, Bill Junk, Shirley Pettit, Pam Langley Pittel and the executive team of Roger Kirpatrick – president, Shannon Jacobs- vice president, Ron Ratliff- treasurer and Norma Kirby- secretary.

“The board greatly appreciates the service and dedication provided by Dan Roberts for the past several years. He will be missed, but Andrew will be a great addition to the board and we all look forward to having him,” said Foundation Executive Director, Whitney Gentry.

Established in 2010, the foundation has purchased numerous medical supplies and equipment for the hospital, assisted in the construction of the Women’s Wellness Center, and remodeled the emergency department registration and waiting areas.
