Fayette County Memorial Hospital (FCMH) Foundation recently received a check in the amount of $250 from Corey Cockerill, owner of Fertile Grounds.

During the summer months, Corey brought her roaming roastery on-site to FCMH and the staff and community purchased specialty coffee drinks.

“We are so appreciative to Corey- what started out as a Facebook message asking if a percentage of sales could go toward the emergency room project turned into a wonderful partnership and the employees looked forward to Fertile Grounds being here every Friday,” said Chelsie Hornsby, FCMH director of business development.

The mission of the FCMH Foundation is to continually forge the future of Fayette County Memorial Hospital by increasing awareness of needs and raising funds.
